"Human life strives ceaselessly to perfect itself, to gain ascendancy. But what of the lower forms of life? Is it not possible that they, too, are conducting experiments and are at this moment on the threshold of deadly success?" In the garden of entomologist Ben Fields (Philip Abbott), a queen bee bizarrely transforms into the unconscious form for an exotic, raven-haired young woman. Calling herself Regina (Joanna Frank), she immediately aims her stinger at Fields, wanting desperately to turn him into a human drone. Not at all thrilled by this notion, his wife, Francesca (Marsha Hunt), attempts to get rid of the "enchanting child." Too late does she realize that when you anger one bee...you anger them all. This fascinating episode takes a new and frightening look at the innocent little creatures that buzz around our gardens.
